My technical knowledge is relied on to ensure that financial statements and corporate tax returns are prepared professionally. Helping train everyone in the process. I have a small portfolio of owner-managed clients that I engage with to provide financial advice as well as compliance work.
Do you prefer outdoors or indoors?
I've always preferred the outdoors. I'm a member of Cycling UK and Tandem Club. Although of late I don't do as much cycling as I would like, it is the sense of exploration, adventure and exhilaration with like-minded people. It is purely for the fun of it, I don't enter races anymore.
What’s the most embarrassing nickname you’ve ever had?
At school I was nicknamed ‘Crash’ because it was believed I’d cycled into the back of the school bus!

Perhaps not my favourite, but I can make a gluten free, lactose free chocolate cake in a microwave in under a minute!

What do you enjoy doing at the weekend?
Aside from a weekly half marathon run (which I don’t always enjoy), I love going on walks with my family and my dog, Ebbi.

I went on a road trip around Europe in the summer for 2 weeks, we went to France, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Amsterdam.

This is to ensure the team are aware of all relevant details and to ensure the smooth running of our workload across the whole team. I work with Georgina, the Tax Director and Nick Pinfield to prepare R&D tax relief claims. I work with clients to understand their business, support them with both technical and financial reports as well as providing enquiry support.

I'm fluent in German! I grew up in a bilingual household; I used to love confusing my teachers by speaking to them in German.
